The Cat Is Out Of The Bag As Brian Friedman Announces He Will Be Directing Saara Aalto's Eurovis

The cat is well and truly out of the bag this evening, as it has been announced that world famous choreographer Brian Friedman will be responsible for directing and choreographing Saara Aalto's Eurovision song. In an Instagram post Brian who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears, Cher and Beyoncé excitedly posted that he want's, "to bring the artist that is Saara Aalto back to the world".

Saara seems to be taking the competition really serious this year in an effort to ensure Finland qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest Final. She has three amazing songs, and will almost certainly put the Scandinavian nation back on the map. This isn't the first time that the pair have worked together. During her time on the UK's "X Factor" back in its thirteenth series the duo worked extremely close. Judging by this announcement the Finnish beauty also seems to be thrilled by the idea, as she tweeted how excited she was too.

Saara could not be in better hands as Brian is a successful world renowned choreographer. He has choreographed, directed, and performed many music videos and performances, such as Britney Spears "Toxic", Prince's "The One" and NSYNCS "Pop" are just a few examples. He has also had his hand in many television programmes such as "Will & Grace", "The X Factor" and "So You Think You Can Dance?". Finland are not taking any chances this year, and are certainly looking for their second win.

The talented artist seems to be in full swing, and is really proving that she is taking the competition seriously. Since her announcement last November, she has created quite the stir in the Eurovision community. She has always been a fan favourite, and many are eagerly awaiting UMK 2018 to see what master pieces Saara has produced.

Saara has become quite prominent on twitter teasing many of her fans with details of the proposed songs. Her first song will be released on the 9th February 2018, the second on the 16th February 2018, with the third song being published on the 23rd February 2018. This gives fans over a week to listen and enjoy them before the UMK national final to be held in Helsinki. Will you be able to spot a Eurovision winner? It is likely that the video's will be released at the same time.

It hasn't be revealed who has written these three songs yet, however several Eurovision song writers have been rumoured to have been working with her recently. Those include legendary Thomas G:son (wrote Euphoria and many other Eurovision hits), along with Linnea and Joy Deb (wrote Heroes).

She is no stranger to Eurovision having stated several times that she would love to represent Finland at the contest. She has competed at UMK twice. The first was in 2011 with the self penned song "Blessed with Love", and the second was in 2016 with the song "No Fear". On both occasions she finished second. This time, the artist is guaranteed to represent her home nation. Saara also rose to prominence in the UK too, where she again finished second on the thirteenth series of X Factor.

Finland has decided to go internal this year, and select the well known artist Saara Aalto. Sticking to the national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2018 (UMK), Saara will sing three songs during the televised final to be held on 3rd March 2018.
