Six More Artists Qualify From The Final Heat of Hungary's Dal 2018


Hungary are getting one step closer to choosing the artist who they wish to be present for the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Lisbon 2018. Tonight, the country held their final heat that pushed six more artists to perform in one of the two semi finals to be held on the 10th and 17th February 2018. The show which was hosted by former 2016 entrant Freddie, along with journalist Kristina Ratoyni saw ten acts perform with only 6 going through.

The six acts that qualified were Maszkura és a tücsökraj, Nikoletta Szőke, Attila Kökény and Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos, Tamás Horvath, Ham ko Ham, and Roland Gulyás.

1) Nova Prospect "Vigyázó"

2) Cintia Horváth & Tomi Balogh "Journey (Break Your Chains)"

3) Maszkura és a tücsökraj "Nagybetűs szavak"

4) Roland Gulyás "H Y P N O T I Z E D"

5) Reni Tolvai "Crack My Code"

6) Ham ko Ham "Bármerre jársz"

7) yeahla feat. Viki Eszes "1 Szó

8) Andy Roll "Turn the Lights On"

9) Tamás Horvath "Meggyfa"

10) Nikoletta Szőke, Attila Kökény and Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos "Életre kel"

The other three artist just missed out on a place in the semi finals. The sixth artist to be announced was Roland Gulyás with the song "H Y P N O T I Z E D" . This was chosen to go through as a second round qualifier from the public vote. Tonight also saw performances of the following competing entries, Fecó Balázs and Veca Janicsák performed as the interval act for the show.

The two semi finals will see only 4 singers move forward to the Grand Final to be held on the 24th February 2018, that will see 8 artists all compete to be Hungary's next Eurovision entrant.
