The national broadcaster for F.Y.R. Macedonia MRT have revealed today that they will be choosing their Eurovision Song Contest 2018 act internally. However, they have opened a submission window for artists and composers to submit any entries. The public would not chose the entry, but MRT would do so.
Artists have not got long. Any potential entrant would have until February 8th 2018 to send in songs. It would be left to a committee to narrow down, and decide the name of the artist and song that would head over to Lisbon in May 2018.
Composers from the home nation and abroad are invited to take part and must submit their musical compositions in a form of demo or finalised musical version.
The Balkan nation have yet to win the competition with their best result coming in 2006 when Elena Risteka placed 12th.
