Malta | Colin Fitz To Host the Maltese National Final 2018
With the Maltese national final just over 10 days away. The national broadcaster for Malta TVM have revealed that the person to host the final will be radio presenter Colin Fitz.
The announcement came this morning on local radio during 'Carlo's Breakfast Café' stating that Daniel Azzopardi's successor for MESC would be Colin Fitz.
Colin is known as one of the presenters of the 'Magic Malta Radio Show', and is a well known presenter for musical shows in the country.
The MESC Grand Final will be held on Saturday 3rd February 2018, where 16 acts will have the honour of trying to represent the small Mediterranean island.
The 16 competing Eurovision acts are as follows:

Avenue Sky – We Can Run
Brooke Borg – Heart of Gold
Christabelle Borg – Taboo
Danica Muscat – One Step At A Time
Deborah C – Turn It Up
Eleanor Cassar – Back To Life
Jasmine Abela – Supernovas
Lawrence Gray – Love Renegade
Matthew Anthony – Call 2morrow
Mikhail Attard and Cherylis Camilleri – Breaking Point
Miriana Conte – Rocket
Petra – Evolution
Rhiannon Micallef – Beyond Blue Horizons
Richard & Joe Micallef – Song For Dad
Tiziana Calleja – First Time
This year marks a drop in applications for the show, which can be attributed to Malta's failed qualification in 2017. Could one of these artists qualify for the final in May.
