Eurovoxx Talks To Gianluca Cilla From Malta

Tomorrow the Grand Final of the Junior Eurovision will be aired, and we will know the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. They have had their rehearsals, performed for the jury vote this evening, and all over Europe people are voting in an online poll to chose their winner. Our girl Jessica is in Tiblisi for Eurovoxx and covering the event. Yesterday she had the great pleasure of interviewing the Maltese representative Gianluca Cilia . The singer will perform his song "Dawra Tand", and hopes that he will be hit with the voters. Dressed in a red T-shirt, Gianluca was very charming, and gladly answered Jess' questions. Can he give the Mediterranean island another junior win? Check the interview below:

Fun loving Gianaluca was very fun and felt "great" by being at Junior Eurovision. With lots of character and personality he was a very fun young guy to interview. Of the first rehearsal, "it was amazing, mostly my day was great because of that".

Another high energy and big performance song didn't take its toll on young Gianluca, he said, "we weren't to squashed with the time, so we had time to rehearse". He doesn't have much time, but when he does have it, he has enjoyed his experience there.

The song itself, "is a very positive and happy song, it talks about a spinning ocean, something that is spinning. It is describing how life is spinning, and you stay on it by being a positive". This is a very good message indeed.

The title is Maltese for "Spinning Round" and will be the first time we will hear the language at Junior Eurovision. "It is your choice, but it is a pleasure to see that people from Malta at participating at Junior Eurovision, and singing in the Maltese language.... It's nice". He told us.

the interview ended with Gianluca singing a snippet of his song. We were delighted with this, and have a sneaking suspicion about this entry. Good Luck Malta.
