JESC 2017 | The opening ceremony will take place today!

November 20, 2017

Today, the opening ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 15:30 CET live from Tbilisi and it will be streamed live via the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel bit.ly/JESC2017Opening

During the ceremony, the running order will be decided. The host country, Georgia, will select their running order at random. 13 countries will all select whether they sing in the first or second half of the show and the remaining 2 countries will select at random to sing in first and last place.

Once the draw has finished, the shows' producers will put together the running order, confirm it with the EBU who will then make it public.
