September 16, 2017

Four piece boyband Fource have been chosen to represent The Netherlands at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. The winner was decided by a 100% jury vote.

There were 2 rounds in the final. In the first round, all 3 participants sang cover songs:

  1. Fource - September Song (JP Cooper)

  2. Montana - Sign Of The Times (Harry Styles)

  3. Sezina - Issues (Julia Michaels)

The jury put Fource and Sezina through to the second round, leaving Montana in 3rd place. Both Fource and Sezina reprised their semi-final performances.

The jury was made up of:

  • Kim-Lian van der Meij - actress, singer and presenter. She co-hosted Junior Eurovision 2007 and 2012.

  • Sharon Doorson - singer-songwriter.

  • Tim Douwsma - singer. He was the spokesperson for The Netherlands in Eurovision 2014.

The Netherlands has taken part in every Junior Eurovision contest and this is the first time that they will be represented by a boyband, and it is also the first time since 2009 that they will be represented by boys.
