JESC 2017 | Grigol Kipshidze will sing for Georgia!

September 8, 2017

Georgia's broadcaster GPB have announced that 13 year old Grigol Kipshidze will represent them on home soil at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi. His song is expected to released in the coming weeks.

Grigol is no stranger to the stage. He took part in the latest series of The X Factor in Georgia where, despite his young age, made it all the way to the final. Grigol comes from a musical family, and cites Michael Jackson as one of his favourite artists.

Check out one of his performances in X Factor Georgia, where he is singing none other than Michael Jackson!

Grigol was chosen to represent his country at Junior Eurovision via an internal selection. There was an expert jury that consisted of:

Zaza Shengelia - producer

Maia Baratashvili - singer

Davit Evgenidze - musician

Eliso Shengelia and Giorgi Asanishvili - both GPB representatives
