Lisbon is the place to be in 2018, as the Eurovision party gets bigger and bigger with yet another country confirming its participation at the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest. This time Greece says, "Γεια σου Yasas" to Portugal as it confirms that it will be present.

The National Broadcaster for Greece, "The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation" (ERT) has made it clear that it will be one of 31 nations to officially declare its intentions to be part of Eurovision 2018.

It is not known how they will chose it's entry, however in recent years the artist has been chosen internally, with the public having their say on the song which will be sung. In previous years, the broadcaster has chosen several artists and songs, whilst letting the public decide with a national final. Stay tuned for news on how the country will chose its representative.

Beautiful Demy was Greece's participant in Kyiv 2017, with the song "This Is Love". A typical Greek pop song it scored reasonably well coming joint 19th place with Denmark. It scored 77 points mainly from the help of the juries who gave it 48 points, whilst the public awarded it 29 votes.
