"We Can Be The Rulers" Måns Zelmerlöw Drops New Tribute Single

Eurovision 2015 winner Måns Zelmerlöw is certainly not resting on his victory on Vienna, as he has a brand new song for us all to enjoy!
On July 24th - the Swedish heartthrob released his brand new single "We Can Be The Rulers" which he explained in a public post via Instagram is dedicated to swimmer Sarah Sjöström, Sarah is a 23 year-old swimmer who made history in the 2016 Olympics becoming the first Swedish woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any swimming discipline.
The song itself continues to showcase the 31 year-olds versatility and diversity as an artist since he rose to fame back in 2005. if you're expected an inspirational song with he melodic structure of "Heroes" this is not it, the backing track is very electronic and slow in pace, with hints and notes of electric guitar which compliments the vibe and almost futuristic vibe of the song, coupled beautifully with his faultless and passionate vocals throughout the song, the track as a whole feels very trance like and draws you into the world and atmosphere it is trying to create without being flamboyant and overpowering in its structure and the 3 minutes 17 seconds duration of the song goes by in almost a flash, this song would be perfect if have a late night drive time playlist or something to relax to have in the background.
The song is not taken from his most recent album "Chameleon" which was released late 2016, and with no hints or knowledge of an upcoming album or EP, we have to believe that this is purely a song to inspire and give us our Måns fix over the summer months. if it worth noting Måns recently has moved to London part-time and is living and moving between London and Stockholm, and even uploaded to his social media him at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships final on July 16th. this prompted Swedish tabloid "Aftonbladet" Mr Zelmerlöw may be in talks with the BBC in helping find a representative for the United Kingdom for Eurovision in 2018, we can hope and dream eh?

So what do you think of the song? "We Can be The Rulers" is available on all music sharing sites and devices such as Spotify. Make sure you give it a listen and tell us your thoughts!
