Who earned the most at the Eurovision 2017?

They say money makes the world go around, well it certainly helped when it came to the interval acts at this years Eurovision. As previously reported by Eurovoxx Lady Gaga, and Mila Jokovic were two big names scheduled to be present at this years compeititon as host, and interval act respectively. However, that added problem of money, and how much they were to be paid? prevented this. Here, we will look at how much Ukranian broadcaster shelled out for it's "big names" to perform and host. Eurovoxx can tell you right now that Ruslana is not happy.

The exact figure fort the three male hosts Oleksandr Skichko, Volodymyr Ostapchuk, and Timur Miroshnychenko have yet to be disclosed. However, those performing as entertainment in the interval acts have. Quite surprsingly there is a quite a difference from the lowest to the highest paid performer. The Ukranina group 'Onuka' who claim their music to be, " the bridge between the past and the future. The rich heritage of Ukrainian ethnic culture in the context of modern electronic sound acquires the weight, status and nobility, that has always been inherent to Ukrainian musical tradition". These were the lowest paid, and according to 24 news were only paid 1,500 Euro's.

Next up was former Eurovision winner Ruslana who sang her song "It's Magical". Initially it was reported that Lady Gaga was tipped to follow in Justin Timberlake's shoes, this did not happen with the former Eurovision winner stepping in last minute. It has been stated that she earned 13,000 Euro's. Not bad for a nights work, and certainly more that the group Onuka. There is a problem however, with Ruslana claiming, "As of today, the money went completely out of my pocket and they have not returned to us". In an interview with Ukrainian magazine she claims she has not been paid, and will actually be out of pockets. She stated, "I invested in the creation of the song, the recording, the video, the costumes and the training, Eurovision covered part of these costs". Eurovoxx feels there may be a law suit coming here? Although high, this figure is nothing compared to Jamala's.

At the other end of the spectrum Jamala, the previous winner took home a whopping 33,000 Euro's for just performing one song. Although it came with a an added flash of bare bottom from Ukrainian prankster Vitalii Sediuk. Is this a "bare cheek" for Ruslana and Onuka who earned considerably less? , and in the case of Ruslana being out of pocket poses a big problem.
