Are they in or are they out?

After previously confirming their participation at the 15th Junior Eurovision Song Contest later this year, BNT have taken the unusual step of withdrawing their earlier participation confirmation on their twitter account. Citing the election of a new Director General at the station, and a new Board due in August, this means that all proposals for participation in the contest will need to be presented once more before a final decision is made.

With this news today, it means that so far only seven countries are currently confirmed for the Tbilisi contest on 26 November.

Bulgaria have had previous successes in Junior Eurovision, coming 2nd in 2014 with 'Planet of the Children' by Krisia, Hasan and Ibrahim, and hosted the contest in 2015.
