Russia To Send Polina Bogusevich & "Wings" To Tbilisi 2017

Saturday June 3rd, the first song for Junior Eurovision 2017 was confirmed and it is Polina Bogusevich with her song "Krylya" (Wings) who will represent Russia.
Polina, 13 was selected in a national selection final which included 21 songs, but her mature vocals and song stood above the rest with the jury and internet voting being in complete agreement, with her winning both portions of the vote and walking away with the 12 points in both rounds, finishing nine points ahead of joint second place Veronika and Vilena. the song is a dramatic-esque mid tempo ballad, showcasing a lot of Polina's range and strength vocally as an artist.
Russia have competed in Junior Eurovision every since their debut back in 2005, having won the contest once back in 2006, with the Tolmachevy Twins, who went to represent Russia in Eurovision 2014 with "Shine" last year Russia had initially selected soloist Sofia Fisenko, before adding three singers to the act to make up quartet Water Of Life Project, and changing the song title from "Zhivaya Voda" to "Water Of Life" they went on to place 4th in the contest, which was voted in Valletta, Malta.
