In December 2016, Brendan Murray was chosen by Louis Walsh as Ireland's representative for Eurovision 2017 and three months later, his song has been officially released! Brendan's song "Dying To Try" was revealed on Nicky Byrne's radio show on RTE 2FM this morning. Nicky Byrne represented Ireland in Eurovision 2016 with the song "Sunlight", but failed to make it to the final, finishing in 15th place in the second semi final.

Although he is only 20 years old, Brendan has already achieved success in the music world. He was a member of HomeTown, a six-piece boyband from Ireland. The band released a top 5 album, "HomeTown" with two number one songs, "Where I Belong" and "Cry For Help", before deciding to go on hiatus in 2016.

Do you think Brendan's song has what it takes to lift Ireland out of the semi-finals? Check out the official video below and let us know what you think in the comments below!
