#BELGIUM | CITY LIGHTS OFFICIALLY OUT WITH A VIDEO CLIP!
We now know what will be the title of the entry for Belgium this year. Blanche will perform City Lights in Kyiv, this May. The song leaked on YouTube last night and it is a modern fresh song.
After finishing 10th last year with Laura Tesoro who sang What's The Pressure in Stockholm, Belgium will send another woman to represent them in Kyiv.
Blanche is 17 years old and is the youngest participant yet this year at Eurovision. She participated at The Voice of Belgium, where she was eliminated two weeks after the duels. Her coach didn't save her.
She was announced as a participant by the broadcaster RTBF the 22nd of November 2016. The broadcaster always chooses internally and have some good score when they come to decide who will represent the country.
Blanche will have a pressure on her shoulders as the country reached twice the top 10 two years in a row. Indeed, in 2015, RTBF chose Loic Nottet and finished 4th overall with his entry Rhythm Inside. The following year, Laura Tesoro finished 10th overall and 6th among the juries.
The song of Blanche seems to be modern and calm with a little pop genre into it. It sounds very promising with such a special voice as the one of Blanche.
After the song leaked on YouTube last night, Belgium is now a favourite to win the contest. Will Blanche is one of your favorites ? She was 30th at the beginning of the night in the odds and this is the biggest climb this year since she is now 3rd.

Belgium will compete in the first half of the first semi final the 9th of May in Kyiv, Ukraine.
