#AUSTRALIA | ISAIAH FIREBRACE TO KYIV!!

Yesterday we brought you the news that SBS were announcing the artist AND song to represent the nation in Kyiv in May, and today they didn't disappoint when they confirmed rumours that their representative would be 17 year old Isaiah Firebrace, who was Australia's X Factor winner last year.
Isaiah will be singing his song ''Don't Come Easy'' - and it seems like the Aussie's have taken heed from the contest last year, and are delivering us another strong ballad, albeit not as thumping as Dami last year - however it does give Isaiah the chance to showcase his voice, range and tone - and show us exactly why he was crowned the nation's X Factor winner.
Of his participation announcement, Isaiah said:
''I’m so proud to be representing Australia as our entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Even though it has been a dream of mine, never did I think for one minute it would be a possibility. To be able to share this news with my family and friends is unbelievable. I can’t wait to go to the Ukraine to perform ‘Don’t Come Easy’. I will make Australia proud. Thank you to SBS and my label Sony for believing in me and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime.''
So what do you think? Will Australia go one better this year? Watch the video below courtesy of Eurovision.tv and let us know in the comments below..
