The national broadcaster for the Netherlands AVROTROS has confirmed that they will be the second country to join the party next year, and will be at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019.

The broadcaster is one of only two countries to have been at every single contest. They clearly want to continue this, and have now opened up their submission for new singers, for next year. Zapp are now officially accepting applicants. They have stated that they are looking for a boy or girl aged between 9 and 14, who enjoys singing, dancing, and performing.

Applicants have until February 15th 2019, and state that if a group wants to perform, they have to register individually, and state "Extra". After the audition, it is then down to the Junior SongFestival Team to decide the ultimate composite of the finalists.

All those wishing to participate must do an audit video where the performer needs to introduce themselves, and sing a cover of a song, and then upload it onto YouTube.

At this years contest the country was represented by Max and Anne who came a respectable 13th. Their song "Samen" scored 91 points of which juries gave them 91 points, and the online voting gave them a score of 68.
