Eurovision 2019 | Eurovision 2019 Slogan Revealed

This evening, it has been revealed by host broadcaster KAN that the slogan for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be "Dare To Dream".

It was recently announced publicly on social media and further confirmed via eurovision.tv that the slogan for Eurovision 2019 will be "Dare To Dream". Te logo for the contest which will take place in Tel Aviv on the 14th, 16th and 18th May 2019 will be revealed at a later however to work alongside the slogan.

Israel will be hosting the contest after their victory in Lisbon, Portugal thanks to their artist Netta Barzilai with her song "Toy" which was bookies favourite in the lead up to Lisbon. In the last few days she slipped to second behind Cyprus's "Fuego" but despite the late fight, Netta walked away with the victory with 529 points, 93 points ahead of second place. Israel very nearly weren't present in Lisbon after their broadcaster IBA shutdown immediately after the 2017 final finished airing, but KAN picked up the show and were given special permission to compete despite not being a fully fledged EBU member at the time, due to the surrounding circumstances.
