JESC 2018 | Jael Wena To Represent Australia

With a little over two months until the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Australia become the next nation to give details of their artist for the competition , with Jael Wena being announced as Australia's next Junior Eurovision artist .

The head of delegation for Blink TV announced earlier that the 12 year old artist who hails from Melbourne, will be the countries fourth singer at the competition. The song hasn't been revealed yet, but the young singer is well known for her very powerful voice. Check her singing, "Never Enough" from 'The Greatest Showman' below:

The young singer is the fifth artist to be officially known, after Belarus' Daniel Yastremsky won the right to represent his home country during yesterday's national final with his song, "Time".

So far, Australia has had a mixed bag of results at the contest, with their best ever result coming from young Isabelle Clarke who came third in Tiblisi 2017 racking up 172 points with her song, "Speak Up". Can Jael go two better this year?

This years edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus on the 26th November. The competition will be even more difficult this year with a record number of 20 songs competing for the winners crown. Israel, France, and Azerbaijan are all returning back to the contest, whilst Kazakhstan, and Wales make their debut.
