France Returns To Junior Eurovision 2018
It has been confirmed by France Televisions that the country will be returning to the Junior Eurovision song Contest. They have only appeared at the contest once, and that was back in 2004. This year, will mark their second appearance at the competition.
The French head of delegation Edoardo Grassi who is in charge of the Eurovision process for France has stated, "We will solicit voice coaches, singing schools and launch an online form to designate internally our choice".
It appears that the country are taking the whole process serious. Many Eurovision fans will be familiar with Edoardo as he is the man responsible for France's Eurovision entries since 2016, and reversing the fortunes of the country.
This announcement comes several days since the broadcaster for Wales (S4C), announced that it was going to be sending a candidate to Minsk.
This years competition will be held in Minsk in Belarus, and will take place on November 25th 2018. So far ten countries have confirmed that they will be heading to eastern Europe for this musical extravaganza. With two returning, and new nations applying, it would appear that the competition is getting bigger. Exciting times are ahead for this growing contest.
