Tickets for the dress rehearsal and live show of The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 have officially gone on sale today! The final of Junior Eurovision 2018 will take place on Sunday 25th November from the Minsk Arena at 6pm Belarussian time (5pm CET), with the dress rehearsal taking place the day before, Saturday 24th, at the same time, 6pm. JESC 2018 | Rita Laranjeira will sing for Portugal
Portuguese broadcaster RTP have today announced that 13-year old Rita Laranjeira will represent Portugal at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The announcement was made on the television programme Agora Nós by host Carla Bugalho. Out of a total of 10 participants, Rita was chosen as Portugal's representative by a jury. Wales will be debuting at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November in Minsk and last night the second episode of their national selection show Chwillio am Seren aired and the final 12 were announced. JESC 2018 | Fidan Huseynova will sing for Azerbaijan at Junior Eurovision 2018
The Azerbaijani Broadcaster, ITV, have today announced that Fidan Huseynova will sing for Azerbaijan at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Belarus. Fidan, who was internally chosen by the Azeri broadcaster, is expected to reveal her Junior Eurovision song in the coming weeks. Fidan is no stranger to competition, having taken part in many competitions in Azerbaijan and abroad, including the 2017 Testene Art Baku festival, which she won, and San Remo Junior in 2018.

JESC 2018 | Kazakhstan National Finalists Announced
Back in July, Kazakh broadcaster Khabar Agency announced that associate EBU member Kazakhstan would be making their Eurovision debut this year in November at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be hosted in Minsk, Belarus. Today, the Israeli national final for Junior Eurovision 2018 took place at the Russel Theatre in Ramat Gan, a city in the Tel Aviv district. The Belarussian broadcaster BTRC have revealed the stage and green room designs for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
