Tornike Kipiani has been crowned the winner of Georgian Idol 2019, and will go on to represent Georgia at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam! Tornike is a 32 year father of three. He is a musician, and has previously won X Factor Georgia in 2014. This is not Tornike's first attempt at singing for his country at Eurovision; in 2017, he took part in Georgia's national final with his song "You Are My Sunshine", alongside Giorgi Bolotashvili. The official music video for Oto Nemsadze's Eurovision 2019 song "Keep On Going" has been released. The video, which is all in black and white, is just as powerful and striking as the song and his vocals are. The music video features members of Shavnabada, a Georgian Folk Ensemble and over 50 “specially selected personalities”. Georgia | Oto's revamped song and backing singers revealed
Georgia's Eurovision 2019 song (formerly titled "Sul Tsin Iare") has undergone a revamp. Despite it's new English title, "Keep On Going", the song remains in the Georgian language. The song still sounds very similar to the original version, with only minor changes being made. The song is available on various streaming platforms, including Spotify. On Saturday, the 2nd live show of the exciting 'Georgian Idol' took place. JESC 2018 | Georgia releases Tamar Edilashvili's song 'Your Voice'
Earlier this year, 13-year old Tamar Edilashvili won the right to represent Georgia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest following the three month search and selection process of 'Ranina'. Georgia | Georgian Idol to be used as National Final
Georgian national broadcaster GPB has confirmed today that they will be using TV show "Georgian Idol" (ჩვენ ვარსკვლავები ვართ) as their selection process for the country's 2019 Eurovision representative.
