Tonight we saw Depi Evratesil live from Armenia's capital, Yerevan. A total of 12 acts battled it out to win the right to represent Armenia at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam, with Athena coming out on top with her song "Chains On You". Eurovision 2020 l Armenia will have a national final in 2020
This is news that wasn't expected from Armenia. Yesterday it was revealed by The Head of Delegation for Armenia that he had some exciting news for everyone. Today the Armenian broadcaster AMPTV, announced that they are going to have their national final Depi Evratesil for a third time, to select their entry to Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Eurovision 2020 | Armenia confirms participation for Eurovision 2020
AMPTV, the Armenian broadcaster, have officially confirmed Armenia's participation in the 202 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam next may. No details have been made public yet regarding how the Armenian representative will be selected. In 2019, the selection method was internal. Though, in the past, they have selected through their national final, Depi Evratesil. Srbuk represented Armenia in Tel Aviv with her song "Walking Out" which finished 16th in the second semi final.
