

Junior Eurovision 2020 | Serbia confirms participation
The Serbian broadcaster RTS confirmed participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Head of delegation Silvana Grujć has confirmed there will be an open call for singers and songwriters to submit a song. This will be published shortly on the broadcaster's website. Whether there will be a national final, or a jury will select the entry, like in 2018 and 2019, is still unclear. Eurovision 2021 | Hurricane look set to return to Eurovision 2021
Local Media in Serbia are reporting that girl band Hurricane, who won the right to represent Serbia at Eurovision 2020, will get their chance to perform on the Eurovision stage in 2021. The popular Serbian tabloid Blic is reporting that Hurricane will return next year for multiple reasons. It is being claimed that the musical trio wanted the chance to return in 2021 whilst the COVID-19 pandemic had also limited national broadcaster, RTS’ funds to re-run Beovizija next spring.

Tonight was the final of Beovizija, the national selection of Serbia for Eurovision, and the winner is the girl group Hurricane with their song "Hasta La Vista". Serbia | All finalists have been selected for Beovizija 2020
Tonight's second semi-final of Beovizija, the Serbian national selection, took place. As in the first semi final, tonight we also heard 12 competitors, 6 of whom went to the finals, including the fan favourites for the win, Hurricane, with their song "Hasta La Vista". As in semi final 1, the results were decided by 50% televote and 50% jury vote. Finalists:

Tonight was the first semi-final of Beovizija, the Serbian national final for Eurovision. 12 competitors competed for their place in the final. With the combined votes of the audience and the jury, we got 6 finalists to compete for the win on Sunday. The Serbian broascaster, RTS, have received a total of 76 entries for Pesma Evrovizije, their national final for The Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
