JESC 2017 | Khelena Meraai will sing for Belarus
Tonight, Belarus has chosen Khelena Meraai to represent them at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia with her song “Ya Samaja”. The winner was determined by 50% televote, 50% jury vote. Khelena proved to be a popular winner, coming first in both the televote and the jury vote. JESC 2017 | POSTCARD DESIGNS REVEALED
The Georgian Broadcaster GPB has released information on the postcards that will be shown before each song at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Zaza Orashvili has been chosen to create each of the postcards. JESC 2017 | 16 countries to grace the stage in Georgia!
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) today announced that a total of 16 countries will be taking part in this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Portugal will be making a surprise return to the contest after a 10-year absence. Portugal first took part in Junior Eurovision 2006, finishing in 14th place out of 15 countries, managing only 10 points. In 2007, they finished 16th out of 17 countries with only 3 points. JESC 2017 | Ukraine to host National Final on August 25th
Ukrainian Broadcaster NTU have revealed the 10 finalists that will take part in the national final on August 25th. A total of 27 acts performed in Ukraine's capital, Kiev, in front of a professional jury who then selected 10 finalists to take part in the national final.
