Georgian group The Virus have been confirmed as the interval act for Junior Eurovision 2017. The Virus, which is made up of Data Pavliashvili, Elen Kezhrishvili, Lizi Tavberidze and Tako Gagnidze, represented Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with their song "Gabede", finishing in 10th place with a total of 51 points. The second day of rehearsals is underway at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi. The remaining 8 countries will take to the stage for their first rehearsals. JESC 2017 | The running order has been revealed!
The draw to determine who will open and close the show, and in which position host country Georgia will sing took place earlier today at the opening ceremony in Tbilisi. Unlike previous years, there was no draw to determine which countries would sing in the first half, and which countries would sing in the second half. Today, the opening ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi. JESC 2017 | Ana Kodra wins the ticket to Tbilisi
Back in June, Ana Kodra won the Festivali i Këngës për Fëmijë (Song Festival for Children), the same festival that Mishela won in 2015 and Klesta 2016. Macedonian Broadcast MKRTV have today released Macedonia's entry for Junior Eurovision 2017, "Dancing Through Life" sung by 14 year old Mina Blažev. Alicja Rega has been chosen to represent Poland at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Georgia with her song "Moj Dom" (My House).
