Mariana Venâncio has been chosen as the Portuguese representative in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. A total of 5 singers competed in Festival da Canção Júnior. They all sang the same song, "Youtuber" as well as a cover version of a song of their choice. The winner was decided by 50% televote, 50% jury vote. The final results were: 1. 13 year old Maria Iside Fiore will represent Italy at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with her song "Scelgo" (My Choice). Serbian Broadcaster RTS have announced that they will chose their entry for Junior Eurovision 2017 on September 30th. Portuguese broadcaster RPT have announced that the Festival da Canção Júnior will be used to chose their entry for Junior Eurovision 2017. The final will take place on October 5th. Four piece boyband Fource have been chosen to represent The Netherlands at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. The winner was decided by a 100% jury vote. There were 2 rounds in the final. Last week, Georgian Broadcaster GPB announced that Grigol Kipshidze will represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2017. This week, the Georgian broadcaster has launched a competition to find the song that Grigol will sing. JESC 2017 | The search for presenters begins.
Georgian Broadcaster GPB have announced a casting call to find the presenters for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Anyone who is interested in being one of the presenters of the show must submit an application along with a photo of themselves and a biography to junioreurovision@gpb.ge or call 2 409 110. They must submit their applications between August 31 and September 6. Successful candidates must be fluent in English and must have previous presenting experience.
